CURLE Belgian label launched in 2006 for all things deep techno, house and mnml. Curle quickly made itself a name with 12"s from Mark August, Dub Kult, Anthony Collins and Efdemin. Some of the tracks got licensed to mixes from Sven Väth and Richie Hawtin amongst others. In 2008 the first Curle CD, mixed by Efdemin, got released to high international acclaim. The accompanying single 'America' made it to the #1 spot in the Groove charts, another highlight in the short history of Curle. 2009 brought contributions from Martyn, Soulphiction, John Beltran and Convextion. 2010 looks bright, with new tracks from Thomas Brinkmann and Belgium's finest Peter Van Hoesen, the first Curle label compilation, plus a bi-monthly Curle residency at Fuse in Brussels. www.discogs.com/label/Curle+Recordings METISSE A subdivision for remixes of tracks that appeared earlier on Curle Recordings. www.discogs.com/label/Métisse PETITE The idea behind this subdivision is to license and re-release forgotten pearls (or the odd cd-only track) with a new remix on the flip.
